Debra Atkinson

Debra Atkinson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music at the University of Mississippi, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. She earned a DA in Music from the University of Mississippi in 2006, a BM in Music Education from Delta State University in 2000, a BM in Music from Delta State University in 1978, and a BM in Voice from Delta State University in 1974.

Her teaching focuses on piano instruction, including courses such as Class Piano (MUS113, MUS114, MUS213, MUS214). Her research interests likely align with music education, piano pedagogy, applied music, and classical performance techniques.
