Dr. Ellen Bennett is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. She holds a BA (Hons), MA, and PhD. Her research focuses on voluntary organizations, policy, and inclusive research methods, including creative techniques like photo voice. She teaches qualitative research methods and advises postgraduate students. Currently, she co-leads a £2.1m UKRI-funded project on creative health and community assets, and collaborates with Black Thrive Global on capacity development. She serves as a Trustee of the Voluntary Sector Studies Network, an international research association.
