Dr Rob Macmillan is a Principal Research Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University's Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR), with over 20 years of expertise in third sector research. He holds BA(Hons), MA, and PhD qualifications. His work focuses on voluntary action dynamics, field theory applications, and the interplay between markets, the state, and civil society.
