Elizabeth Sullivan is an Associate Professor of Oboe and Musicianship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She teaches at all levels, from advanced oboe performance to foundational music education, and her students pursue careers in music education, performance, and non-profit leadership. Her research focuses on supporting first-generation college students in music programs, informed by her own experience as a first-gen student. She is a dedicated performer and a founding member of Trio Village, a chamber ensemble advocating for under-represented composers. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Music from Stetson University and a Master’s and Doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
