Elizabeth Stillwell

Dr. Elizabeth Stillwell is an Assistant Professor of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in employee mental health, workplace well-being, and organizational dynamics. She joined LSE in 2022 after serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. Her research focuses on grief in the workplace, stigma reduction, and positive interventions to foster inclusive environments.

Dr. Stillwell holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, where her dissertation explored grief's impact on employees and workplace compassion. She earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington. Her work bridges organizational behavior and positive psychology, addressing topics like postpartum depression, mindfulness, and allyship.

She has published in leading journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology and Human Resource Management. Her research has been recognized with grants and awards, including the LSE's Dare to Care Award and the Carlson School's Teaching Award.
