Elizabeth S. Anderson is the John Dewey Distinguished University Professor of Philosophy and Women's Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she has been faculty since 1987. She currently holds the Max Shaye Professorship of Public Philosophy (2021-present) and previously served as the John Rawls Collegiate Professor of Philosophy and Women's Studies (2005-2013).
