Elizabeth Riley Keeler

Elizabeth Riley Keeler, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Since joining the faculty in 2005, she has specialized in treating gynecologic issues in cancer patients, including dysfunctional uterine bleeding, cervical dysplasia, menopausal symptom management, and sexual dysfunction. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgeries like hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, as well as collaborative work in clinical trials for high-risk gynecologic malignancies.

Dr. Keeler is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and actively contributes to national organizations such as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. She is a sought-after lecturer on topics like ovarian cancer screening and genetic risk factors, and has authored book chapters on these subjects. Her practice emphasizes personalized, patient-centered care.
