Elizabeth O’Neill is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), affiliated with the School of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences and the Department of Philosophy & Ethics. Her academic journey began with undergraduate studies in History and Biology at Brown University, followed by a PhD in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015.
Her research spans moral epistemology, moral psychology, and philosophy of biology, with a focus on applied ethics in technology domains. She actively explores ethical AI and privacy/surveillance challenges, contributing to interdisciplinary dialogues on responsible innovation.
