Elizabeth Lerman

Liz Lerman is Professor at ASU's School of Music, Dance and Theatre. A choreographer and educator, her work explores bodily knowledge through participatory methodologies. She founded Dance Exchange (1976-2011) and developed the Critical Response Process for artistic feedback.

Research investigates:

• Feedback systems for creative work
• Community-engaged performance
• Interdisciplinary collaboration models

Current projects include 'My Body is a Library' exploring knowledge preservation through movement, and 'Legacy Unboxed' reimagining artistic heritage transmission with fellow choreographers.
