Elizabeth Galik, PhD, CRNP, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She directs research on geriatric care models and holds leadership roles in aging research initiatives.

Research Focus: Dr. Galik investigates dementia care optimization, functional health in older adults, and non-pharmacological management of behavioral symptoms. Her NIH-funded projects include implementing Function Focused Care models in assisted living facilities and biomarker studies for pain assessment in cognitively impaired populations.
