Elizabeth Finch

Dr. Elizabeth Finch is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) and the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig since November 2022. She focuses on agroecology, ecosystem services, and citizen science technologies. Her research explores transitions to agroecological farming systems and the role of science in environmental policy debates.

Research Interests: Agroecology, landscape restoration, citizen science methodologies, and the integration of technology in ecological monitoring. Current projects include Agroecology-TRANSECT, which examines policy frameworks for sustainable farming systems.

Publications highlight her work on policy debates around EU regulations, landscape restoration strategies, and emerging technologies in citizen science. She contributes to interdisciplinary teams like the Biodiversity and People group, advancing interdisciplinary approaches to environmental challenges.
