Elizabeth Beckman

Dr. Elizabeth Beckman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky's College of Pharmacy and a pediatric clinical pharmacist at Kentucky Children’s Hospital. She specializes in pediatric critical care, focusing on antimicrobial optimization, pain/sedation management, and pharmacokinetics in extracorporeal devices. Her roles include supporting the pediatric heart care program, precepting pharmacy residents, and serving on national pharmacy boards.

Professional Contributions: She serves on the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Pediatric Specialty Council and the editorial board of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Previously, she developed clinical guidelines as a Knowledge Management Analyst for UK HealthCare. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy, pediatrics, and critical care pharmacy.

Advising & Grants: Her mentorship includes training pharmacy residents and students in pediatric cardiology and ICU rotations. She has contributed to quality improvement initiatives in critical care therapeutics and ECMO pharmacotherapy.
