Dr. Elisabeth Venohr is a Researcher in the Department of German Studies - German as a Foreign and Second Language at Saarland University. She serves as Coordinator for the Continuing Master's Program "German as a Foreign and Second Language" and as Academic Advisor for German as a Foreign Language. Dr. Venohr actively participates in international networks including DAAD Eastern Partnerships and coordinates the "Intercultural Communication in Border Areas" project through the Europa Cooperation Platform between Saarland University and htwsaar.

She teaches courses in the Department of German Studies with upcoming instruction scheduled for Winter Semester 2025/26 and Summer Semester 2025.
