Eliezer Lawrence

Rabbi Eliezer Lawrence serves as an Adjunct Professor of Hebrew Language at Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. A certified Mohel and Jewish educator, he specializes in Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) frameworks for classical and modern Hebrew. He holds MAs in Hebrew Bible/Semitic Languages and Teaching Hebrew as a Second Language from Middlebury Language Schools, alongside Columbia University alumni status. His rabbinic certifications include smicha from Yeshivat Ma'aleh Gilboa and milah credentials from prominent figures like HaRav David Bigman and HaRav Shimon Biton.

Lawrence has taught Gemara, Tancha, Yiddish, and Hebrew across day schools, universities, yeshivas, and adult education programs.
