About
Eleonora Candi is Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata's Faculty of Medicine. She serves on editorial boards of Cell Death & Disease and The FEBS Journal, and coordinates doctoral programs in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Nutrition/Cosmetics. Her research examines p63-mediated epigenetic regulation in epithelial development and cancer pathogenesis.
Research interests focus on:
- Transcriptional networks controlling epithelial differentiation
- Non-coding RNA mechanisms in tumor suppression
- Metabolic reprogramming in squamous cell carcinomas
- Stem cell regulation through epigenetic modifications
Publication analysis reveals consistent focus on p63 interactome mapping, chromatin remodeling mechanisms, and metabolic adaptations in epithelial cancers spanning molecular biology to clinical oncology.
