Professor Eleni Mantzourani is a faculty member at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, affiliated with the Faculty of History and Archaeology since May 1981. She holds a PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology from the University of London and specializes in Minoan, Cypriot, and Egyptian Archaeology.

Her research focuses on Minoan and Cypriot archaeology, with emphasis on landscape studies, prehistoric architecture, and cultural interactions across the Eastern Mediterranean. Her publications include monographs on Neolithic Cyprus and Crete, and edited volumes honoring prominent archaeologists.
Administrative roles include serving on the UoA Council (2012-2016), leading the Board of Postgraduate Studies (2009-2011), and chairing the Faculty (2011-2013) and International Relations Committee (2010-2016). She supervises postgraduate students and researchers in topics spanning Minoan and Cypriot prehistory.
