Elena Ruehr is a composer, MIT faculty member since 1992, and Researcher in Music Composition and Theory. She is composer-in-residence with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), known for her emotionally resonant and structurally intricate works.
