Eleanor Smith

Eleanor Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Dance department at Meredith College. She teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Production for Dance, Music for Dance, and Dance Repertory. Her roles include faculty advisor to the Meredith Jazz and Tap Company and co-producer of DanceWorks.

• Education: MFA in Dance from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (20XX), BFA in Dance from Florida State University (20XX)

Professional experience includes teaching and choreographing in Florida and North Carolina public schools/private studios, performances with John Gamble Dance Theater, 2B Tribe, and Even Exchange Dance Theatre. She also served as touring Technical Director for the North Carolina Dance Festival and member/choreographer of Rainbow Dance Company.
