Krislyn World

Krislyn World is a Senior Lecturer in Dance Education at the Peck School of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She teaches African and Latin dance forms while integrating wellness practices including Vinyasa yoga and mindfulness techniques. Her choreographic work spans professional companies including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and international festivals.

Professional Background: Holds an MFA in Dance from UW-Milwaukee and BFA from The Juilliard School. Professional credits include performing with Stevie Wonder's World Tour, musical theater productions, and vocal performances internationally.

Community Engagement: Developed 'Mindfulness Movement' curriculum for Milwaukee Public Schools and established community residencies with organizations including Danceworks and African American Children's Theater. Founder of Blue Water Wellness, LLC providing therapeutic services.
