Professor Eilís Ferran is a Professor of Company & Securities Law at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Law and an Emeritus Fellow of St Catharine’s College. She serves as Provost of the Gates-Cambridge Trust, overseeing postgraduate scholarships, and previously held strategic roles including Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Institutional and International Relations (2015–2021). Her research focuses on corporate finance law, EU financial regulation, and company law reforms, with notable contributions to Brexit’s impact on financial services and post-crisis regulatory frameworks.
