Eilidh MacDonald is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health at the University of Glasgow. Her work explores cardiac pacemaker mechanisms, arrhythmia, and heart failure, using models from zebrafish to mammals. She received the 2022 British Society for Cardiovascular Research Early Career Award and a Journal of Physiology Editorial Fellowship.
Her publications in Frontiers in Physiology and Cardiovascular Research examine sinoatrial node mechanosensitivity, neurohumoral regulation, and cardiac remodelling. She collaborates globally and supervises PhD students.
