Eileen Parent

Eileen Parent is a Lecturer in Art Studio at Sonoma State University within the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts. She specializes in abstract printmaking, drawing inspiration from organic patterns in natural and urban environments. Her work explores themes of time, repetition, and physical presence documentation through line and mark-making techniques.

Parent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Painting from UC Berkeley, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Sonoma State University, and a Master of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts. Her artistic practice integrates traditional printmaking techniques with contemporary explorations of form and pattern.
