Efthimios Alepis

Efthimios Alepis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the same university (2009). His academic progression includes positions as Lecturer (2010), Assistant Professor (2013), and Associate Professor (2020). He teaches extensively at the postgraduate level and serves on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Open University since 2012. His research focuses on object-oriented programming, mobile device applications, interface design, educational software, and Android security.

Dr. Alepis has authored/co-authored over 90 scientific publications in journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He is actively involved in academic governance, contributing to teaching and learning committees. Office hours are available upon prior email arrangement between 13:00-18:00.
