Edward J. Sullivan

Edward J. Sullivan is the Helen Gould Shepard Professor of Art History at New York University's Institute of Fine Arts and College of Arts and Sciences. He specializes in Latin American, Caribbean, and Iberian art from the colonial period to contemporary times, with a focus on socio-political approaches and object-based analysis. His research bridges transnational networks, diaspora studies, and curatorial practice.

• Teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on Caribbean art, Mexican painting, and modern Brazilian art.
