Edward Chen

Edward Chen is an Associate Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Chief of Gastrointestinal (GI) Imaging at Parkland Hospital. His clinical expertise spans abdominal and pelvic CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and X-ray interpretation. He oversees CT colonography protocols and teaches fluoroscopy to residents in the GI division.

• Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from University of California, Los Angeles
• Medical Degree from University of Kansas Medical Center
• Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation
• Fellowship in Body Imaging at UT Southwestern Medical Center

Research Focus: Dr. Chen’s research emphasizes CT, ultrasound, GI radiology, and body imaging. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to advancements in abdominal imaging techniques.
