Eda Keremoglu

Dr. Eda Keremoglu is a postdoctoral researcher in the 'Communication, Networks and Contention' Research Group at the University of Konstanz, Department of Politics and Public Administration. She joined the group in October 2017 after completing her PhD at the University of Stuttgart, where she also worked as a research associate.

Her research focuses on comparative authoritarian politics, with particular emphasis on digital politics, repression, and societal cooptation. She investigates how authoritarian regimes adapt to technological changes and maintain control through strategic societal engagement.

She has previously worked on projects analyzing perceptions of inequality in the German Democratic Republic, demonstrating her expertise in historical and contemporary authoritarian governance structures.
