Anna-Lena Hönig

Anna-Lena Hönig is a postdoctoral researcher at the Cluster of Excellence 'The Politics of Inequality' at the University of Konstanz. Her work focuses on comparative authoritarian politics, democratization, and the dynamics of resistance and repression, with an emphasis on cooperation between non-state actors such as NGOs, social movements, and terrorist organizations.

Her methodological focus includes social network analysis, survey experiments, and causal inference. She previously completed her PhD at the University of Mannheim and was affiliated with the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) and the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) through its Research School on Peace and Conflict.
