Dr. Earlanda Williams serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor of Anatomy at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM) since 2016. Previously, she was a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio for seven years, teaching anatomy across dentistry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other health professions programs.
Her educational qualifications include:
- Ph.D. in Cellular and Structural Biology from UT Health San Antonio (2009)
- Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas State University (2002)
Dr. Williams' primary research interest lies in anatomy education, where she pioneers innovative teaching methods such as 3D-printed anatomical models and interactive digital tools. She actively contributes to the field through her membership in the American Association for Anatomy and service on national examination boards for dental and osteopathic medicine.
