E. Daryl Duff

E. Daryl Duff is an Associate Professor of Commercial Voice Studies at Liberty University's School of Music. A retired Navy Chief Musician with 23 years of service, he served as soloist and vocalist with the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters Chorus, performing for U.S. Presidents and high-ranking officials. He holds an M.A. in Music and Worship from Liberty University and a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Central Missouri.

His research and performance interests span vocal techniques, choral performance, and military music. Duff is renowned for his vocal performances in venues like Carnegie Hall and international tours, including Ukraine and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Recipient of the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal for community service and military contributions, Duff also volunteers in education and military outreach. He maintains a private vocal studio and has taught in Lynchburg City Schools and Oak Ridge Military Academy.

At Liberty University, he contributes to productions like 'Amahl and the Night Visitors' and collaborates with orchestras such as the Lynchburg Symphony. His online presence includes a viral a cappella performance of 'Amazing Grace' with over one million views.
