Dylan McKnight

Dylan McKnight is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Colorado Mesa University, located in Wubben Hall and Science Center 134C. He holds a PhD and MS in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, alongside dual BS degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Saginaw Valley State University as a first-generation PhD graduate.

His teaching focuses on active learning approaches across all areas of mathematics. Research interests center on complex systems of partial differential equations related to fluid dynamics and plate structures, with a commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers. Beyond academia, he enjoys outdoor activities like backpacking, rock climbing, and biking.
