Duncan Williams

Duncan Williams is a Research Fellow in Music with Artificial Intelligence at the University of Plymouth, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). His work focuses on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems for monitoring and inducing affective states, conducted in collaboration with Professor Eduardo Miranda and Dr. Alexis Kirke. His research intersects music, neuroscience, and AI to explore emotional responses and human-computer interaction.

He is affiliated with the Doctoral College Administration - Student Administration (Academic Registry), contributing to academic governance and postgraduate research administration. His current project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those addressing innovation and well-being.
