Drew Morell

Drew Morell serves as a full-time Lecturer in Music and Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado Denver's College of Arts & Media, bringing over 20 years of professional jazz performance experience to his teaching role.

His performance career features:

• Three-year residency as house bassist at Denver's El Chapultapec jazz club
• International touring with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra
• Collaborations with jazz luminaries including Ron Miles, Red Holloway, and Harry "Sweets" Edison

Morell's academic interests center on Jazz Music, Music Performance, and Music Education, with an emphasis on practical industry application. He owns Infinity Music studio and has contributed to over 20 commercial recordings as a sideman.
