Doug Guthrie

Doug Guthrie is a Professor and the Director of China Initiatives at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University. He specializes in international business, organizational development, and Chinese economic reforms. His career spans academia and industry, including roles as a Senior Director at Apple in Shanghai, Dean of the George Washington School of Business, and professorships at NYU Stern School of Business and the University of California, Berkeley. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, he has conducted extensive research in China and holds a PhD in Organizational Sociology from UC Berkeley.
