Doug Fankell

Dr. Doug Fankell is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University. He holds a Ph.D. (2017) from the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in developing non-linear multi-phasic finite element models for medical device design. His industry experience includes projects related to medical devices, nuclear power plants, and United Launch Alliance’s Vulcan Rocket.
