Professor Dorothea Debus holds a dual affiliation as a Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Konstanz (since 2019) and an Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of York. Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer (2007–2019) and Lecturer at York's Department of Philosophy, following roles as a Supernumerary Teaching Fellow at St John’s College, Oxford (2004–2007).
Her academic training includes an MA from the University of Munich (1998), a BPhil (2000), and a DPhil (2004) from the University of Oxford.
