Doris Abitzsch

Doris Abitzsch is a lecturer and subject didactician of German at Utrecht University's Department of Languages, Literature and Communication and the Graduate School of Teaching. She co-authored Dutch language methods for German speakers including 'Welkom! neu' and 'Welkom terug! neu'. As a member of the subject innovation committee, she contributes to updating examination programs for modern foreign languages.

Her research focuses on pedagogical approaches to German language acquisition, developing instructional materials, and curriculum design for multilingual education.
