Dongli Liu

Dr. Dongli Liu is a Research Fellow in the School of Clinical Medicine at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre, University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). She specializes in gynaecologic oncology, focusing on ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and biomarker discovery through advanced preclinical models and next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques.

Her research integrates molecular biology with bioinformatics, particularly through patient-derived primary cell culture and organoid models. Her recent publications analyze deep learning approaches for cancer cell identification, 2D/3D model comparisons, and ROR1/ROR2 targeting in gynaecological cancers. She currently supervises 3 postgraduate researchers (1 Honours, 2 PhD candidates).
