Don DaSaro

Don DaSaro is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Oregon Institute of Technology. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Missouri School of Mines at Rolla and an MBA in Finance from Marymount University in Virginia. With a 41-year career at Caterpillar spanning marketing, sales operations, management, and human resources across Asia, Latin America, and Washington D.C., he brings extensive industry experience to his academic role.

• Specialized in strategic planning and leadership development for Caterpillar dealers in Southeast Asia, India, and China
• Advisor on trade issues to committees including the U.S.-China Business Council and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
• Contributed to the U.N.'s mine-clearing efforts in Cambodia

His research interests align with his professional expertise, focusing on international business operations, strategic management, and trade policy. Don is also an accomplished martial artist with a 4th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and maintains personal interests in golf, hunting, and reading.
