Don Colley is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography at Oklahoma State University since 2017. His research focuses on young people’s geographies, new media, geographic education, and social movements, particularly examining the role of digital platforms in activism and community-building. He holds an MA in Geography from Kent State University (2012). Colley teaches courses such as Digital Worlds: Culture, Identity, and Community, Geography of Music, and Introduction to Cultural Geography, emphasizing cultural and political dimensions of geography. His work explores the intersection of social media, activism, and identity, including studies on movements like Black Lives Matter and the Sanders campaign.
