Rădulescu’s research and artistic work intersect with transnational literature, feminist theory, and performance arts. Her recent novel Tu viens du pays des vampires (2025), written directly in French, examines intergenerational trauma and resilience through the lens of an Eastern European immigrant’s fragmented memory. She has also co-edited anthologies like Voice on the Move (2020) and Immigrant Voices in the Pandemic (2023), focusing on refugee and migrant narratives.
Notable scientific awards include the SCHEV Outstanding Faculty Award (2011), a Fulbright Fellowship to Romania (2017), and recognition as a finalist for the Jane Chambers Playwriting Award (2013). Her plays, such as The Town with Very Nice People (2023), blend immersive theater with feminist critique, addressing topics like academic hypocrisy and immigrant experiences.
Rădulescu has authored or co-authored 16 scholarly books, three volumes of plays, and four novels, while organizing national symposiums that bridge academia and performance arts. Her work has been supported by institutions like the Romanian Cultural Institute and Washington and Lee University, and she actively engages with theater communities in both the U.S. and Romania.
