Evan Mueller

Evan Mueller is a Professor of Voice/Acting at the Department of Theatre and Dance, Western Washington University. He serves as Artistic Director of Bellingham's American Theater Northwest and previously taught at New York University's Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions. His expertise includes Voice & Speech for Actors, directing, and playwriting.

Education:

• MFA: Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts
• BA: Duke University

Research & Practice: Evan focuses on integrating voice training with acting techniques, advocating for theater's role in illuminating humanity. He co-founded the award-winning Strange Sun Theater and has collaborated with prominent theaters like Ars Nova and McCarter Theatre. His play Hot Season premiered in NYC in 2014.

Affiliations: Member of Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA) and Actors Equity Association (AEA).
