Dominique Douglas

Dominique Douglas is an Associate Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University, where she teaches on the BA (Hons) Events Management and BA (Hons) Music and Live Events Management programs. With over 30 years of professional experience in event and wedding planning, she brings industry expertise into her academic role, having founded her own event management company in 2002 and planned hundreds of events globally.

Her research and teaching interests focus on practical and creative aspects of event design and management, particularly in the context of weddings and corporate events. She specializes in destination weddings and cross-cultural event planning, having taught European wedding practices to Chinese professionals in Beijing.
