Dominik Hanf

Dominik Hanf is a Visiting Professor in the European Legal Studies Department at the College of Europe. He combines this academic role with his position as Head of the Litigation Service at the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante, Spain.

• Law Degree (Erstes juristisches Staatsexamen) and Bar Exam (Zweites juristisches Staatsexamen) in Germany
• Ph.D (Doctor iuris) in Comparative Constitutional Law from Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz
• Ph.D (Docteur en droit) in European Law from Université de Liège

His academic career includes teaching EU Law at the College of Europe since 2002. He served as a full-time professor in the Legal Studies Department in Bruges (2002-2012) and held leadership roles as director of interdisciplinary studies at Natolin (2007-2009) and general studies in Bruges (2009-2012).
