Dinah Caudle is a Professor of Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2017. She holds an M.F.A. in Interior Design from SCAD and a B.S. in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her professional experience includes roles as Lead Interior Designer at H. Michael Hindman Architects (2015–17) and Adjunct Professor at University of Tennessee–Martin (2009–10).
Her research focuses on social justice in design, sustainable built environments, and mental health through interior spaces. Notable projects include studies on international student well-being, disaster relief housing, and transitional youth centers. She is a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) and NCIDQ certified, with a LEED Green Associate certification since 2015.
Awards include the 2022 International Design Awards and recognition as a speaker at the 2014 Art and Design for Social Justice Symposium. Her work has been featured in presentations at IDEC Regional Fall Symposia (2020–2022) and the IDEA Journal. She is an active member of IDEC, IIDA, and USGBC.
