Dina Ghanma

Dr Dina Ghanma serves as Lecturer in Finance and Director of Postgraduate-Taught Finance at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading. She concurrently holds the position of Programme Director for the MSc in Corporate Finance pathway.

Her educational credentials include a PhD in Finance supervised by Professor Simone Varotto, Dr Lisa Schopohl, and Dr Ioannis Oikonomou; an MSc in Financial Research earned with Distinction; and a BSc in Finance and Investment Banking where she received the Dean's Excellence Award for Top Performer - all from the ICMA Centre.

Dr Ghanma's research spans Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Sustainable Finance, ESG integration, and market volatility during financial crises. Her doctoral work specifically examined ESG and sustainability roles during market downturns, with ongoing funded experimental research in Behavioural Finance.

She supervises dissertations on Responsible Finance, Financial Crises, and Equity Markets at both ICMA Centre and UCL School of Management, while securing research funding for Behavioural Finance projects. Her administrative leadership encompasses coordinating seven MSc programs within the Postgraduate-Taught Finance Programme Area, ensuring alignment with CFA, CISI, and AACSB standards.
