Diethardt Freye

Prof. Dr. Diethardt Freye is a Professor of Business Administration, specializing in Logistics Management at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences' Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. He holds a Dipl.-Phys. (Physics), Dipl.-Kfm. (Business Administration), and a Dr. rer. pol. (Economics) from the University of Göttingen. His career includes roles at Volkswagen Group, including leadership in logistics and process optimization from 1994 to 2008.

Research focuses on automotive logistics, sustainable logistics, and agricultural logistics. Key projects include the KOMOBAR initiative optimizing mobile machinery in agriculture and the ROBUST project addressing maritime logistics.
