Dick Stevenson is a Professor at Macquarie University's School of Psychological Sciences and member of the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre. With a BSc(Hons) in Biological Science from University of London, MSc/DPhil in Experimental Psychology from University of Sussex, he transitioned through postdoctoral roles at CSIRO Food Science, University of Sydney Department of Psychology, and Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research before joining Macquarie in 1998 as Lecturer and becoming Professor in 2010.
