Diane Smith

Diane Smith serves as Adjunct Professor of Flute at Hochstein School and teaches at Roberts Wesleyan College, with additional performance affiliations including the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Oratorio Society, and Broadway Theatre League.

Her educational background includes Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Flute Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music under Joseph Mariano. Within Hochstein's administrative structure, she holds dual roles as Coordinator of Ensembles and Co-Chairperson of the Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Department.

Teaching responsibilities encompass Flute (MUSC 1014), Flute Choir (MUSC 267), and Woodwind Ensemble (MUSC 267), reflecting her specialization in wind instrument pedagogy and ensemble direction.
