Diana Y. Qiu

Diana Y. Qiu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science at Yale University. Her research focuses on developing and applying first principles quantum physics methods to study materials with an emphasis on many-electron interaction effects and quantitatively accurate predictions for real-world applications. Key research areas include the discovery of novel, highly-tunable, and transient materials, and investigations into exciton transport, coherence, and nonlinear/ultrafast optical responses.
