Diana R. Lamphiere

Diana R. Lamphiere is an Instructor of Finance and Commercial Law at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business. She holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Public Policy from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on how law intersects with society, particularly human trafficking, and her teaching interests include general and business law, legal environments, and ethics.

Professionally, she has extensive legal experience, including practicing business transactions and litigation, in-house roles at Brilliance Publishing and LexisNexis, and judicial clerkship. She also teaches at multiple institutions, including Grand Valley State University and Davenport University. She actively serves on boards such as Migrant Legal Aid, Grand Rapids Film Festival, and The Diatribe.
